Woznow — Automated Founder Brief

A busy founder's most important signals — recurring issues, slipping deadlines, emerging risks, real momentum — are buried inside everyday Slack messages and Zoom calls. Reading all of it is impossible, and skimming means the patterns that actually matter get missed until they become problems. The client needed a way to stay on top of what's really happening across the business without manually trawling through hundreds of conversations every day.

We built Woznow, an AI service that quietly monitors the team's Slack and Zoom activity and turns it into a single, decision-focused daily brief. It reads the raw flow of conversation, identifies the meaningful signals within it, and groups related signals into the bigger patterns that a founder needs to see — what's on fire, what's gaining momentum, and what needs attention. Those patterns are organised across the core areas of the business and synthesised by AI into a clear, executive-level brief. The whole pipeline runs automatically on a schedule, so the brief is ready without anyone lifting a finger, and an admin interface allows briefs to be regenerated or focused on a specific date range on demand.

The founder now gets a concise daily brief that surfaces the issues, risks and opportunities hidden across the team's conversations — without reading any of them directly. Recurring problems and stalling follow-ups become visible early, while genuine momentum is highlighted rather than lost in the noise. Because the system runs on its own schedule, the insight arrives reliably every day with no manual effort.

We started from the founder's real question — "what do I actually need to know today?" — and worked backwards into a pipeline that could answer it automatically. The service was built in clear stages: ingest conversations from Slack and Zoom, use AI to extract the meaningful signals, group those signals into patterns, and synthesise a prioritised brief. We designed it to run as scheduled background work so briefs are always ready, while keeping an admin interface for manual control. Throughout, the focus was on signal over noise — making sure the brief highlights what matters and stays short enough to actually read.
