eBay Feed Importer

eBay's product data doesn't map neatly into Google Shopping. Its listings come with their own feed format, OAuth authentication and webhook-driven updates, and keeping a large set of eBay listings synced into Google Merchant Center — with campaigns and click tracking attached — is a specialised, continuous job. The client needed a dedicated system built specifically around eBay's quirks rather than a generic importer.

We built a focused importer for eBay that handles the platform end to end: authenticating via eBay's OAuth, ingesting its product feed, processing webhook updates, and syncing the catalogue into Google Merchant Center. Products are indexed in Elasticsearch for fast lookup, and the system manages Google Shopping campaigns and eBay-specific click tracking. A Next.js dashboard gives operators a clear view of categories, merchants, products and campaigns, with analytics charts for performance — so the whole eBay-to-Google pipeline is configurable and observable from one place.

eBay listings now flow into Google Shopping automatically, kept current through webhook-driven updates rather than manual re-imports. Operators can manage campaigns and monitor click performance from a single dashboard, and the Elasticsearch index keeps product lookups fast even at scale.

We built this system specifically around eBay's model rather than adapting a generic importer. The backend handles eBay's OAuth and webhook-driven updates so the catalogue stays current without manual re-imports, with products indexed in Elasticsearch for speed. We layered on Google Merchant Center sync plus campaign and click-tracking management, then built a Next.js dashboard that surfaces categories, merchants, products and campaign analytics. The focus throughout was a dependable, observable eBay-to-Google Shopping pipeline.
